Sorry it took so long. Visited up in Naperville Friday evening for a night of drinking, went straight to Peoria the next afternoon, then back home that night to help my parents pick out a new graphics card for the compy and install it for them because they are technology illiterate. Got back last night, passed out, woke up this morning to head to the lab for 8 hours of work, then workout, cookout, fishing for a bit, now finally getting to the blog post Rolling Eyes

I enjoyed the pictures and write-up Kenny. I had no idea there were pure spots in the Il river basin. Very cool Orange-Spot also! I would love to have a tank with a few of those.

2 weeks and the water will begin to go back to normal at my local spot. If you can get out here end of August, I'll put you into some of MY fish. Laughing

Haha normally our region doesn't even get close to that area. We were just called to come up and help with sampling up there. I will see if I can ask around and find some DPR basin surveys. Thing is a lot of those biologists up there are concentrating on Asian carp stuff. If it helps you at all, we launched from Big Basin marina there off of Bluff Road by Joliet. Not sure if you are interested in that area. There were some good looking areas to fish there. I am supposed to be finding stuff for Rob on Rend Lake, but that is also out of our region. I could probably try and get a hold of other biologists and inquire about sampling data Idea
