Contest Information Page

The following terms and conditions apply to all promotional giveaways and contests operated by Fishing-Headquarters, unless otherwise stated in the specific terms of contest. All participants are bound to these terms by their contest involvement and participation.

How To Enter

Contests begin on a specified start date, and all entries must be placed and received between the start date and the ending date (the “Contest Period”) specified for each Contest. You must follow the specific instructions to enter each Contest.  Valid entries must include all requested information, and the information must be accurate. Fishing-Headquarters is not responsible for any incomplete, late, lost, illegible, damaged, postage-due or misdirected mail-in entries, or for failure to receive online entries due to technical failures of any kind, including, without limitation, errors in transmission, network malfunctioning or unavailability  or hardware or software problems, regardless of the owner or operator of the systems involved.

Eligibility

Contests are open to any natural person that is a legal resident of the United States and Canada. You must also have an active Facebook Account to participate in all contests. You must be at least 13 (or 18, depending on applicable law) years of age to enter unless a different age eligibility requirement is specified on the Information Page. To be eligible, you must have a valid street address located in the United States or Canada.

Prizes

Contest prizes include only those items expressly listed on the contest press release.  Any costs (taxes, fees, surcharges or other costs of any nature related to a prize) associated with the use or ownership of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. The Approximate Retail Value of each prize is listed for each contest.  One or more winners for each contest, when specified, will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. Winners will be notified by email or announcement on Fishing-Headquarters website and social media pages.  If Fishing-Headquarters cannot reach the winner within 1 week (7 days) of attempted notification, or if the prize or notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected at random. Fishing-Headquarters will not ship any prizes to an address outside of North America.

Fishing-Headquarters  strictly prohibits cheating or fraud in any contest, but has no responsibility for such conduct by any other entrant or party.  Any activities intended to disrupt or interfere with the proper play of any contest, or to defraud us or any other party in any way, may be reported and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.  Any contest entrant that Fishing-Headquarters, in its sole discretion, determines to be involved in any such conduct will be immediately disqualified and forfeit any interest in any prize.
