Since spring of 2009, I have been heavily involved with a tackle company known as Stankx Bait Company. They are located in Kalamazoo, Michigan. All products are made from home, and their bags may be found at select retail locations throughout Michigan. Recently, the company has been slowly expanding to other outlets throughout the country which includes the east coast, out west, and even a stop down south at Lake Guerrero, Mexico. Majority of the sales are made online through website Facebook page.
These days it seems online shopping is the way to go. Easy to order, and the easiest way to please customers by giving them everything they request for.
About the Company
Stankx Bait Company is the brainchild of a select group of anglers. A group that was tired of the same old colors, the same old names, and the same old prices.
Here at Stankx, we strive to make a product that will outlast and outfish other “big name baits”. We do not spend money on advertising, to help keep our overhead down and pass this savings on to you. Our customers are our lifeline. You can expect personal one-on-one service for any of your plastic needs.

Here at Stankx we do not want to fall into that everyday group of other bait companies. Therefore, our color schemes, names and our attitude are one of our own. Unlike other companies who raise their prices after finding a loyal following, we will not let this happen to you. As we continue to grow, we will always keep you, our customer, in mind. The greatest aspect about this company is that it caters to the multi-species angler (predominantly tournament and recreational bass anglers) who are searching for an edge. That edge is custom plastics in the form of color, profile, and scent. Stankx Bait Company can make everything, and can create more than what most other major brand name bait companies do as far as color styles are concerned. The big brands only have stock colors which have likely been ripped off from other big and small companies…… Well, Stankx Bait Company has its own original selection of stock colors created themselves that can be accessed at their interactive color chart. Additionally, they also have their own unique selection of custom colors which can be found nowhere else but through its online shops.
ALL prices for stock colors are set at the exceptionally affordable $3.99 value. For customs however, prices may vary according to style and difficulty of the custom creation. The range for custom plastics is within $4.99 to $6.99.
Not only is owner Travis Crosman a fisherman and worm brew master, but he is an artist. He can mix, match and make everything that every bass angler wants.

Stankx Bait Company always has something creative and available for the bass and multi-species angler. What you see in the gallery above are some of my favorites and the most common baits and colors that are in my boat. One of my beliefs in fishing is the more you think outside of the box, the odds against you improve.
