In January, 2016, Fishing-Headquarters Online Magazine, including publisher and owner, Andrew Ragas, established a partnership with The Rod Glove, an Ontario Canada based company started by Jim Van Ryn in 2010. Van Ryn identified a need in the fishing tackle marketplace, namely for rods and reels, to have a product that would provide anglers with methods for storage and organization, and protection of their equipment.
He knew that in order to make this idea work, the product had to be simple and functional from a design perspective, and also fashionable and customizable from a color and pattern perspective. The Rod Glove was developed to meet all of these requirements, and to protect the anglers investments.
